JOSEPH ADAM SMITH

I’m Joe, and I’m a Bristol-based videographer and camera operator working across branded content, corporate films, live events and documentary-style projects.

I’ve been working with a camera for as long as I can remember, developing that into professional work across a range of productions in the UK and internationally.

I’ve worked as an expedition videographer filming across Antarctica, the Arctic, the South Pacific and remote regions of Australia, capturing wildlife, landscapes and human stories in unpredictable environments. This often meant working solo, adapting quickly to changing conditions, and delivering high-quality content on tight turnarounds.

Alongside this, I work freelance across the UK, collaborating with production companies, agencies and direct clients on corporate events, branded campaigns and live performances. Much of this work sits within client platforms, but it’s built a strong foundation in working efficiently, adapting to fast-paced environments, and delivering consistent content.

I’m experienced across a range of camera systems and comfortable both operating independently and working within a crew, including roles as a camera operator and 1st AC. My focus is on creating natural, engaging visuals that serve the story while maintaining a high production standard.
